How to clean your pan properly
Properly cleaning cookware is an important task in every kitchen, but it can be quite tedious, especially when dealing with pans without PTFE/Teflon/PFAS. But what if we told you that you can simply clean our HIFFICIENCY® pans under the tap, rinse them, and lightly oil them if needed? And what if we told you that you can even clean your pans in the dishwasher? Yes, it's true, and all thanks to the innovative DURAQUARZ® non-stick coating on all HIFFICIENCY® pans.
1. Easy cleaning of the pan under the tap
To clean your HIFFICIENCY® pan under running water, simply rinse it with hot water and use a non-abrasive sponge or cloth to remove all food residue. If needed, you can add a few drops of dish soap to the sponge or cloth. Then rinse the pan again with hot water to remove any soap residue. Finally, dry the pan with a clean towel and, if desired, rub a thin layer of oil onto the surface.
2. Clean the pan in the dishwasher.
The second option is to clean your HIFFICIENCY® pan in the dishwasher. This is a good option if you have a busy schedule and no time to wash your pans by hand. Simply place your pan in the dishwasher and run a normal cycle. Once the cycle is finished, remove the pan from the dishwasher and wipe it with a clean towel. Finally, rub a thin layer of oil onto the surface.
In summary, cleaning your HIFFICIENCY® pan is usually very easy: simply rinse it under running water and then lightly oil it. You can also clean your pans in the dishwasher, but it's best to do this only when necessary. With these tips, you can ensure that your HIFFICIENCY® pans look like new for years to come. So enjoy your cooking without having to worry about cleaning!
3. Remove heavily burnt-on residue from the HIFFICIENCY® pan
(Please do not use with Teflon pans)
You should only choose this effective cleaning method if something is burnt on and/or the pan has a coating that cannot be removed by simple rinsing.
Ingredients: You will need some salt, oil, a drop of dish soap, and a rough sponge. These materials should be found in every household, making this cleaning solution the perfect choice for anyone who wants to keep their professional pans in top condition.
Step 1: Add salt, oil and dish soap
Sprinkle a small amount of salt over the burnt-on residue in your HIFFICIENCY® pan. Then add a small amount of oil and a drop of dish soap. This combination of ingredients acts like a natural abrasive and helps to break down the burnt-on residue.
 Step 2: Polishing
Using the rough side of a sponge, make circular motions over the surface of your HIFFICIENCY® pan. Apply light pressure and continue this process for about 1-2 minutes. You should now see the burnt-on residue loosen.
 Step 3: Rinse and oil
Once you've finished with the sponge, rinse the pan with warm water and a little dish soap. Make sure you remove all the salt, oil, and dish soap. After washing, dry your HIFFICIENCY® pan with a clean towel and apply a small amount of oil. This will prevent your pan from sticking in the future and keep it in top condition.
In summary, cleaning your HIFFICIENCY® pan is very easy. With just a few simple ingredients, you can keep your pans looking like new.
Have fun cooking!
 A notice:
Please note that you should not overheat your pans/pots and should use heat-resistant oil for frying and cleaning. Unfiltered (virgin) olive oil is not suitable for this purpose. The latter can be added at the end of the frying process for flavor. Burnt oil is not only sticky and prevents the non-stick effect, but it is also harmful to your health.
