The X-Bake plate, made of solid cast aluminum, ensures perfect browning thanks to optimal heat distribution and an OBSIDIAN SHELL® coating – all without baking paper. This allows the heat to reach the food directly, resulting in a richer crust and more intense flavor. It is heat-resistant up to over 450°C, extremely robust, dishwasher-safe, and therefore the ideal solution for baking, roasting, and grilling.
OBSIDIAN SHELL® is our proprietary, patented, PFAS- and Teflon-free powder non-stick coating. It is mineral-based, extremely heat-resistant, and twice as durable as conventional coatings. For you, this means: no sticking, no off-gassing, no compromise – just worry-free, professional-level frying.

Our cast products are manufactured in Germany using a high-quality die-casting process – made from over 90% recycled aluminium. Kastenform

Ich war auf der Suche nach einer Kastenform, in der ich den Hauptteig meines Sauerteigbrotes direkt einfüllen kann. Also eine Form, in der der Teig zu Ende reift und auch direkt gebacken wird. Und das ohne Verwendung von Öl oder sonstige Trennmittel. Und sich das Brot nach dem Backen trotz senkrechter Wände leicht löst. Diese Profi Kastenform hat meine Erwartungen und Wünsche weit übertroffen. Für mich bedeutet das eine enorme Zeitersparnis und vor allem viel Freude. Auch an der Seite ist die Kruste kross. Und wie alle beschrieben haben, fällt das Brot nach dem Backen aus der Form. Kleine Reste vom Backen wische ich mit Wasser und einem Schwamm ab. Und trockne die Form dann nur kurz ab. Nach ungefähr 20 Einsätzen ist keinerlei Veränderung der Oberfläche zu erkennen. Besonders gut gefällt mir die stabile Ausführung, weshalb die Wärmeverteilung sehr gleichmäßig ist und die Wände nicht nachgeben. Einfach top! Zum Glück hatte ich mir gleich 2 gekauft.
