OBSIDIAN SHELL® heralds a new era in cooking. This innovative powder coating is based on a new technology in which mineral components fuse together at extreme temperatures – much like lava solidifying into rock. The result is a layer that is inseparably bonded to the metal surface, making it exceptionally robust, heat-resistant and durable. The coating is completely free from PFAS and PTFE, yet offers a strong non-stick effect that remains reliable over the long term. No. Thanks to the high-quality OBSIDIAN SHELL® non-stick coating, nothing sticks. This saves you baking paper and excessive greasing – and even results in better browning.
Baking paper blocks some of the heat. Without paper, the heat goes directly to the food – this results in crispier results, more intense browning, and reduces waste.
The plate has two sides: – Convex side: excess fat runs into the groove → perfect crispiness. – Concave side: retains moisture → ideal for braising. This means one plate replaces several appliances.
No. Thanks to the stable embossing principle, it remains flat and reliable even at 300 °C.

Kastenform

Ich war auf der Suche nach einer Kastenform, in der ich den Hauptteig meines Sauerteigbrotes direkt einfüllen kann. Also eine Form, in der der Teig zu Ende reift und auch direkt gebacken wird. Und das ohne Verwendung von Öl oder sonstige Trennmittel. Und sich das Brot nach dem Backen trotz senkrechter Wände leicht löst. Diese Profi Kastenform hat meine Erwartungen und Wünsche weit übertroffen. Für mich bedeutet das eine enorme Zeitersparnis und vor allem viel Freude. Auch an der Seite ist die Kruste kross. Und wie alle beschrieben haben, fällt das Brot nach dem Backen aus der Form. Kleine Reste vom Backen wische ich mit Wasser und einem Schwamm ab. Und trockne die Form dann nur kurz ab. Nach ungefähr 20 Einsätzen ist keinerlei Veränderung der Oberfläche zu erkennen. Besonders gut gefällt mir die stabile Ausführung, weshalb die Wärmeverteilung sehr gleichmäßig ist und die Wände nicht nachgeben. Einfach top! Zum Glück hatte ich mir gleich 2 gekauft.
